Revetla de Sant Joan 2025: Fire, Music & Magic in Palma
One of Mallorca’s most vibrant and symbolic celebrations, Revetla de Sant Joan, returns to Parc de la Mar in Palma this June 23 — and for the first time, it has been officially declared a municipal cultural event of public interest.
🔥 What to Expect:
-
Correfocs (fire runs) with demons and drummers in traditional costumes
-
Folk dancing, live music, and a large public gathering at sunset
-
A closing fireworks show and performance by the Menorcan band Pèl de Gall
It’s a celebration of the summer solstice and island folklore, blending fire, rhythm and community.
👀 Tips for Residents:
-
Arrive early to find a good spot (it gets very busy from 9 PM onward)
-
Wear long sleeves and cotton clothing to stay safe during fire shows
-
Avoid bringing personal fireworks — they are prohibited
-
Great for adults and teens, but not ideal for very young children or pets
“If you’ve never experienced a Mallorcan revetla, this is the one to start with.”
The atmosphere is electric, yet community-driven — a must-see for residents who want to feel part of the island’s traditions.
