Every November, the peaceful mountain village of Caimari, nestled in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana, comes alive with the aroma of olive oil, freshly baked bread, and traditional Mallorcan music.
The Fira de l’Oliva — or Olive Fair — is one of Mallorca’s most authentic and beloved autumn events, celebrating the island’s centuries-old olive-growing tradition.


🌿 What to Expect

During this weekend, Caimari transforms into an open-air market where visitors can discover everything related to olives and olive oil:

  • 🫗 Olive Oil Tastings – Sample locally produced extra virgin olive oils from the Tramuntana region

  • 🫒 Artisan Market – Handcrafted ceramics, woodwork, local cheeses, honey, wines, and traditional goods

  • 🍞 Local Food Stalls – Try rustic Mallorcan snacks like pa amb oli, olives, sobrasada, and freshly fried bunyols

  • 🎶 Live Music & Folk Dancing – Performances by local musicians and ball de bot (traditional dance) groups

  • 🐴 Demonstrations & Exhibits – Watch how olive oil was made in the past using traditional presses and tools
